Full of such Black excellence and beauty!

This is the only magazine I’ve bought, and it’s been great to see people who look like me, thriving AND in print I intend to have my future children see magazines, literature, and art by us for us all around them because I never had that privilege; this is a part of a bigger picture! Thank you CRWN.

Our whole selves..

I thoroughly enjoyed CRWNMAG, a beautiful representation of who we are. It's truly in a class all by itself, I can't compare it to anything else. I would recommend CRWNMAG to not only my friends but to anyone who truly values diversity!

I loved the fact that it took money and it's use into a wise strong and balanced dimension.

I really loved reading each article. The different writting styles, the transparency and simplicity of it all give the magazine it's unique grounded and modern soul. I definitely do recommend CRWNand I love reading it in public to give a bit of visibility at my little level.

Love love love...but

I love the LOVE issue. It is an issue that I go back to over and over again in order to drink in the incredible images of Black families loving on each other. The problem, however, is that the representation of families and couples is overwhelmingly heteronormative and cisgendered. Where are the trans, *****, lesbian, *** families and lovers? Where are the non-traditional or extended families and partners? Black love comes in all shapes, sizes and shades and I would love to see CRWN be better and do better at representing the magnificent breadth of our community and the many ways we build, share and care for each other.
